We will reflect on the unfinished work of the French Revolution as we recognize International Women’s Day. We will reflect on the spirituality hidden in plain sight in a city where statues of goddesses reign in the city parks, images of Joan of Arc are omnipresent and the churches are called “Our Lady.” Tapping into the power of myth and metaphor we will reclaim the spiritual insight: “None of us can be free until everyone is free.”
