Stephen Crowther came late to Unitarianism having attended his first service in 2004 in Brighton where he now lives. He is Lay Pastor to Hastings Unitarian Church and has a small private therapy practice. Having spent much of his adult life working as an artist, in 2012 he completed his training as a Person Centered Therapist. Since then, he has trained as a Spiritual Director at the London Center for Spiritual Direction. He currently divides his time between Pastoral duties at Hastings, seeing clients in Brighton and leading Sunday worship throughout the South East of England (while trying to imagine what retirement might look like!).
